In the year 1999, due to the need for volunteers, I attended Su Ba’s guided tour at Fort San Domingo. After listening, I felt that Tamsui’s history was rich, and Su Ba was humorous. This sparked my interest in both Su Ba and Tamsui. The following year, when Su Ba conducted a course at the Farmers’ Association, I eagerly participated. In 2005, I officially started serving at the Tamsui Historical Museum. The community college in Tamsui offered a high-quality guide training class, and Su Ba attended as both a student and a teacher. During that time, he gained Su Ba’s recognition.

Su Ba combines his storytelling with practical experiences. He enjoys sharing stories, making the tours interesting and humorous, without putting pressure on anyone. Once you get to know Su Ba, you’ll feel like he’s a reliable support during the guiding process.

Su Ba intertwines history with personal experiences, making the narration interesting and humorous. Interacting with Su Ba is quite relaxed.

Every day, I tell various stories to people from all walks of life. I find a sense of accomplishment, whether it’s unfamiliar tourists, relatives, friends, or my family’s friends who come to Tamsui.

Back when I was in university, my life was centered around Tamsui University, and I wasn’t very familiar with Tamsui’s history. It was only after graduating and returning to Tamsui that I joined the Tamsui Historical Museum to narrate history, finding a fulfilling sense of accomplishment in the process.
